Chocolate Banana Bread
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 1/8 cups of sugar
3 mashed bananas
1 1/2 cups of orange juice
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups of softened margarine
2 cups of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of chocolate chips
1 cup of chopped walnuts
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Directions:
Combine the sugar, bananas, orange juice, eggs, vanilla, and margarine, into a bowl, mixing well. Blend the flour, baking powder, baking soda, chocolate chips and walnuts into the mixture. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Pour the batter into 2 separate greased loaf pans. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes or until done.
Yield: 8-10 servings
