Chocolate Bourbon Candy






Prep Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons of corn syrup
1/2 cup of Bourbon
2 1/2 cups of crushed chocolate wafer cookies
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 cup of chopped nuts
sugar for coating


Cook Time: 1 1/2 hours

Directions:
Melt the chocolate chips over low heat in a saucepan. Remove from the heat. Stir in the corn syrup and Bourbon. In a separate bowl....mix the wafers, powdered sugar, and nuts. Combine the chocolate mixture in with the wafer ingredients.... blending well. Let sit for 1/2 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll each ball into the sugar. Let season in an airtight container for a couple of days.
Yield: 54 servings
