Chocolate-Caramel Apples




Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
5-6 medium apples
5 wooden sticks
4 boxes (1.85 ounces) of Milk Duds
1 tablespoon of milk
2 teaspoons of butter
3/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3/4 cup of finely chopped nuts



Cook Time: 15-20 minutes

Directions:
Wash and dry the apples then remove the stems. Grease a cookie sheet for later. Insert the sticks into the apples and set aside.

Combine the Milk Duds, milk, butter and vanilla extract into a saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly until the candy has melted and mixture is smooth then remove from the heat.

Dip the apples into the mixture coating well. Let excess coating drip back into saucepan then roll the apples in the nuts. Lay each apple on the cookie sheet and let firm.
Yield: 5-6 servings
