Chocolate Crunchies
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
40-50 soda crackers
1 cup of margarine
1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of chopped nuts
Cook Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Directions:
Line a baking pan with foil and grease lightly. Lay the crackers in a baking pan. Combine the margarine and sugar into a saucepan...let boil for 3 minutes. Stir constantly. Pour the sugar mixture over the crackers. Bake the crackers in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the crackers. Let the chocolate melt and spread evenly. Sprinkle the nuts on top. Refrigerate for 1 hour and break into pieces. Yield: 50 servings
