Chocolate Peppermint Fudge
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of margarine
2/3 cup of evaporated milk
1 2/3 cups of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups of miniature marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of mint extract
crushed peppermint candies
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Directions:
Combine the margarine, milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let the mixture come to a boil. Let it cook for 4 minutes while stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Add the remaining ingredients...except the peppermint candies...and stir until all the marshmallows are melted and blended well. Pour into a greased 8 inch pan. Sprinkle with the peppermint candies. Let cool. Yield: servings equals 2 pounds
