Chocolate Valentine Hearts
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 cups of crisp rice cereal
1 1/2 cups of nuts
1 1/2 cups of miniature marshmallows
2 chocolate squares melted for drizzle
1 package of nonpareils for garnishment
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Directions:
Microwave the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe container for 2 minutes or until melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Add the peanut butter and stir until the mixture is well blended. Combine the cereal, nuts, and marshmallows into the mixture. Press the mixture onto a baking pan coated with a nonstick cooking spray. Drizzle the melted chocolate on top then sprinkle with the nonpareils. Let stand until firm. Use a 3 inch heart shaped cookie cutter to make your Valentine treats. Yield: 14-16 servings
