Fudge Pie
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
4 ounces of sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup of margarine
14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup of hot water
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
1 cup of flaked coconut
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Cook Time: 50 minutes
Directions:
Melt the chocolate and margarine in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from the heat. Combine the chocolate mixture, eggs, water, vanilla, and salt into a bowl. Mix until thoroughly blended. Pour into the pie shell. Top the pie with pecans and coconut. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 35 minutes or until done. Serve warm or cool. Yield: 8-10 servings
