Vanilla Frosting
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup of light cream
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of softened margarine
1/2 cup of shortening
2 cups of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Directions:
Mix the cream and flour in a saucepan on medium heat. Stir until the mixture is smooth and thick. Remove from the heat and refrigerate until cold. In another bowl....stir in the margarine, shortening, sugar, and vanilla. Beat until blended. Add the flour mixture. Stir until fluffy and light. Serve on your favorite cake. Yield: 6-8 servings
